Faux-Camping

Faux camping is the art of crashing another's campsite and enjoying all the benefits of camping without actually having to do all the WORK.  :)  I'm so good at this.    My sister's church was having their annual "Day Away" camping weekend, so we spent the days and evenings there and then came home to our cozy, soft beds at night.  (Of course we did this for the baby.  hehehe)

My sister and her husband Jim (AKA the "camp fairies") have the gift of making gourmet meals with the most simple of ingredients, and it all tastes SO good....  See that big kettle down there with the coals on top?  There's brownies in there!!!!

Gyros, sweet corn, brownies and home made chicken strips!  While camping!  I'm in awe...

Sunday morning church services, a lakeside baptism ceremony, and a Mennonite potluck!  I'm in heaven!
