What better way to celebrate your last day of school than to have a BIRTHDAY!? Rea loved that her special day landed on another special day, making it all the more fun for her! And since daddy said they could play hooky from swim practice, we made it a back yard party and celebrated big!
Since it was 92 degrees out today, we needed a little more shade, so Daryle put up the the awning, which happened to match perfectly with the birthday party color scheme....
Rea had asked for a white cake with white frosting - basically a wedding cake.... So I asked if I could surprise her with a little more color/decoration to spice it up a bit! :) SKITTLES!!!!
I found this pinwheel at Target and it reminded me of whimsical days of "yore"... Or something. But I really liked it and had to have it!

Rea giving hugs!! Love that she is so honestly and genuinely grateful for her gifts and for any little thing that someone does for her.
Rea's new electronic "puppy".... :) Plug it in, keep it clean, keep it safe, don't LOSE it, have FUN with it, and it's already her best friend. Eek. Yes, she will be sharing with her siblings AND her mother. :)
My "babies"..... I HAVE to stop calling them that! Nahh.....
