Since we were all on strike and had no work commitments, we were all free to join Sharon in celebrating her retirement! I have known Sharon for nearly 13 years - in fact, she was working the night of my very first ever shift as a nurse at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital waaaaaay back in 2002! Here are my girls, Flora, Sharon and Candice with me.
Sharon's family
Cathy and me!
Miss Sharon and me - how I will miss you!
Boo and me!
Aaaaahhhh, Geeta! My neighbor who I never see anymore!
The gang! So many people have come and gone since I worked on Ortho - I didn't even recognize a lot of them!
Amy! One of the most beautiful and amazing people I have ever met!
Geeta, Isabel, Cheryl, and Mary Ellen
Miss Flo!

On Strike Again.... April 27, 2015
Some of my amazing ER team on the picket lines. This is our 5th strike in less than two years. This is getting old....
Rea's 6th Grade Outdoor Camp, April 15-17, 2015
I was selected (much to Rea's excitement) to be one of the parent chaperones for the 6th grade class trip to the Marin Headlands. It was a fun and looooong two day experience.... 6th grade boys are yucky, and (many) 6th grade girls are just plain mean. (sigh). Glad I was there. :)
Loved walks on the beach, what a beautiful view to wake up to and eat breakfast to every morning!
Fun camp songs!
View from the top of the hill on our ocean side hike
Lunch time! Everyone carried a part of the meal in their backpack and then we all shared. Who knew that hummus could be so filling?
View of the GG bridge from the headlands.
Bonita Point Lighthouse
Dolphin and whale watching!

Junior Olympics and Far Westerns!
Rea had a great swim meet at the JO's in Concord on March 21st. She got a gold, silver and bronze overall and took a lot of seconds off of most of her events!
April 9-12th was Far Western Championships in Morgan Hill, CA. Rea did great, and loved swimming against her friend and strong competitor, Hannah Lockyer!
Ma-lak and Rea also attended the "Fitter and Faster" swim clinic in St. Helena, CA on May 31st, taught by former Olympic Swimmers,Larsen Jensen and Chloe Sutton.
