Ok, so it's really just yellow... And it is a belt, not a medal. But I think it felt the same to her! Rea successfully completed her testing for "decided yellow" yesterday and did great! (Ma-lak is taking a break from some extra-curriculars since football is starting up soon!) She loves doing Taekwondo (hey, I finally spelled it right!) and especially loves the competing part. She does however get all giggly and loses her focus whenever I try to take her picture, so I lurk around alot and try to be sneaky so she doesn't see me!
Ni'ke, also very sport-savvy, has talked non-stop about being a "finger skater" ever since the Olympics started. It's no use correcting her, she's convinced that they're called finger skaters because they point their fingers when they skate.... ???? I know... :) So, maybe we'll have a little future Olympic "finger-skater" zipping around here soon, you never know. It could totally be a sport.
Good job, girls! Just try your hardest and do your best at everything you do!
