I recently read a book called "The Three Battlegrounds" by Francis Frangipane. It's one of those books that fed my soul so satisfyingly and is so compacted with yummy morsels of truth that I just had to go back for a second helping, so I'm reading it again!
I thank God that the Words He spoke to the inspired writers of the scriptures thousands of years ago are not His only words or His last words! He is still speaking to us today, giving us new revelation of His character, His purposes for our churches and cities, and strategic battleplans for victory where our natural minds only see impossibility.
"Lord, speak to us, and may we be servants who hear and joyfully obey in LOVE, without fear!!"
Here's a sample to "munch" on:
"Satan fears virtue. He is terrified of humility; he hates it. He sees a humble person and it sends chills down his back. His hair stands up when Christians kneel down, for humility is the surrender of the soul to God. The devil trembles before the meek because in the very areas where he once had access, there stands the Lord, and Satan is terrified of Jesus Christ."
