Road Trip to Bodega Bay!
There's nothing like a fun little 30 minute road trip to the ocean on a Sunday afternoon, right?! So that's what we did! We got Carl's Jr. at the drive thru and headed out for a picnic in the sand, actually it was more like "sand in the picnic"!
The children would've stayed there all day, but it was a little cool and mommy forgot jackets. :( Next time! Ya'shar did NOT have a great time. It sorta freaked him out to walk in the sand and he bawled unless he was being carried, which was really not so great for the 'ole back. (UGH)
Can't wait to go back again - better prepared, and with the rest of our little family. We miss you Daddy and Rea!! Hurry home!

Welcome to Grand Cayman!
Hello, Friends! We are way behind on our blogging, but it's been a rather busy past month!! We just returned from a week in Grand Cayman for a belated honeymoon, and to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary as well as Daryle's 50th birthday! What an amazing trip! None of it would've been possible without the pure unselfishness, generosity, and BRAVERY of our friend Janelle, who stayed with our children while we were gone! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! (And thanks to our cameras acting up, I have no pictures of our day together in San Francisco...) :(
Every moment of our time away together was wonderful! We praise God for calming the seas and storms before we went and giving us perfect weather. We did have a few random showers here and there, but they were refreshing and welcome, and they came and went before we knew it!
Enjoy our pictures! There are alot of them, and because I posted so many, you'll have to click into the archives to see them all.
Thanks for your prayers and for all the birthday and anniversary cards that we received before we went and after we returned as well! We love and miss each one of you and look forward to seeing alot of you at the wedding in a couple weeks!
Our Hotel
Lounging at the Pool
This was one of our favorite things to do - NOTHING.....!! We just floated around the pool by the hotel and drank our yummy "froo-froo" fruity drinks and RELAXED!!! I'd almost forgotten how to do that! We loved talking to Al and his wife (from Kentucky) they were very entertaining!
The beach area by our hotel was perfect for swimming or snorkeling - we saw stingrays and lots of beautiful fish. Aaaaahhhh.... I can't believe it's over already!
