Home for Christmas - December, 2014!

 Rea and I flew to Ohio for Christmas - it was the first time I'd been to Ohio or Missouri during the holidays in 10 years!  Was a bummer to not be able to bring ALL my little kiddos and Daryle, but it was good to have lots of family time and see brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews!

US Navy League Sea Cadets Christmas Party, December 6, 2014

JO's (AKA The Junior Olympics) in Morgan Hill, CA - December 5-7, 2014

Rea qualified for the JO's!  And it happened to fall on the same weekend as the Sea Cadets Christmas party.  So Daryle and I decided to divide and conquer - He took the girls for the weekend and I stayed home with the boys.

And Miss Rea Sunshine came home with lots of medals!  Way to dominate!

 Rea's class hosted a "Walk Through the Ancient World" in December.  She came home from school and did the "I need a costume by tomorrow" thing.  (Not to fear, I invented that...)  So we dug in the closet and found my dancing skirt from Pettisville Missionary and blinged her out in lots of fake gold jewelry!

Rea and I are just goofing in the first picture!  The bottom picture is a house across the street from the kids' school.  It's just a head-scratcher for me....  It's a beautiful mural, but on your garage door?? Ni'ke suggested that maybe their last name was Lions.  Good theory.
