More Family Time

Grandma, Lori, McKayla and Nick came over and hung out with us before Ni'ke and I left to head back home. You're turn to come visit! :)

Hooray for Bonfires!

One of my favorite parts of the weekend was having a good 'ole hotdog roast at Brent's on Friday night! And Mandy, you are sooo right. S'mores ARE better with Reeses! (Um, Smoreeses?!) Thanks, Uncle Brent and Aunt Jessie for the awesome bonfire, good times, and for the cool fireworks display that your neighbors really loved, too! :)

Family Time!

It was very precious to spend time with my neice and nephew who I don't get to see near enough! Ni'ke loved making "new friends"!

Farmer Brent's Place

The farm is well underway! 200 chickens, a dog, a cat, a weasel... Well, the weasel wasn't invited, and since he ate a bunch of chickens, he had to go! Forgive the gross picture, but I was sorta fascinated since I'd never seen one before! Ni'ke thought the chickens were pretty cool, from a distance...

Hanging with Grandpa!

Levi and Ni'ke had a good time riding around with Grandpa (so did the mommies!) It was so great just to be there and relax, no huge schedules to keep and work to rush to. We do too much running around sometimes, ya know?! I thank God for opportunities like this to remember what's truly important and to gain a new perspective - to see HIS perspective! "Be still and know that I am God..."

Road Trip to Bodega Bay!

There's nothing like a fun little 30 minute road trip to the ocean on a Sunday afternoon, right?! So that's what we did! We got Carl's Jr. at the drive thru and headed out for a picnic in the sand, actually it was more like "sand in the picnic"!

The children would've stayed there all day, but it was a little cool and mommy forgot jackets. :( Next time! Ya'shar did NOT have a great time. It sorta freaked him out to walk in the sand and he bawled unless he was being carried, which was really not so great for the 'ole back. (UGH)

Can't wait to go back again - better prepared, and with the rest of our little family. We miss you Daddy and Rea!! Hurry home!
