After three long years of waiting, Jen's groom, Chris finally arrived in the States from Uganda, and he and Jen became husband and wife yesterday!! Daryle and I were so blessed to attend the ceremony and reception - both were conducted in Swahili and English so that all could participate! Many blessings to you both!

The Smith Family Goes Sailing!!!
After an early Easter morning breakfast on Sunday and mini church service at home, the kids started sailing lessons off the docks of Treasure Island! It rained the whole way down, but by the time we got there, it was beautiful and warming up. There's still a lot of construction going on with the new Bay Bridge - but thankfully not a lot of traffic that early on a Sunday morning.
The Treasure Island marina
Ya'shar all cool in his shades!
First lesson, you gotta put your boat together!!
Class starts with Chris - what a great teacher!! Apparently some of our children knew the answers?! :)
It's starting to look like a sail boat....
Aren't those little sailboats CUTE?!
Here they are - the fearless four! When Captain Chris asked who wanted to be the first to capsize their boat and upright it again, they were all for it! Brrrrrrr......
Ya'shar only got to watch - you're almost 7, buddy, hang in there!
Down the boat ramp and into the water
And off they go!
That's my girl, swimming in the ocean!
Ni'ke practicing the best way to get into the boat after it capsizes
Gorgeous views of the city from on Treasure Island
I found me a flea market. SCORE!!!
Food truck heaven!!!! I love San Francisco foodies!!
